Our approach
Our approach at Bodyworx is different from other companies. You’ll get a bespoke consultation which delves into your fitness history, along with an understanding of what you want from your training.
Our initial consultation gives you the chance to get comfortable with the gym and its equipment, and allows us to work with you to create a personalised plan that suits your needs and availability.
You can also be sure that we are fully qualified, registered Level 3 Personal Trainers, with full professional and liability insurance, first aid trained, DBS checked and with many years of experience in the health and fitness industry.
All our personal training sessions take place in our private studio in Four Elms, a friendly, relaxed space surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Frequently asked questions
What are the benefits of having a personal trainer?
The personal part is that it’s all about you! At Bodyworx, our personal trainers help their clients achieve their fitness goals, but they also help them re-evaluate how they view health and wellness. A personal trainer can create a workout programme suited to your level of fitness, as well as establishing goals to help you get set for success. You’ll learn how to exercise safely and effectively, understand why you’re doing each exercise, and have someone in your corner to keep you motivated. We offer advice and motivation and can train with you at a time that’s convenient.
How often should I train with a personal trainer?
Initially, one or two sessions a week for about 6 to 8 weeks, alongside your personalised programme, is where you should start to see the difference, although you’ll most certainly feel the benefits almost straight away! After that, lots of our clients carry on with regular sessions to keep progressing, while others mix personal training with our fitness classes. We’ll talk it through with you and find what works best for your goals and your week.
Can I personal train with a friend?
Absolutely! At Bodyworx you can have small group training with people you know, in pairs or threes, for £70 an hour shared between you. We know working out with others can help push you harder, as well as having lots of fun along the way. It’s also a great way to keep each other motivated between sessions!
How much is it to have a personal trainer?
Personal training is £50 per hour, £35 for 45 minutes or £25 for 30 minutes. If you block book 10 sessions in advance, you’ll get an extra session free, and you can train in pairs or threes for £70 an hour. We also offer our 6 Week Reset programme. See our pricing guide for more information, or get in touch and we’ll help you choose.
What happens in my first session?
Your first session starts with a relaxed consultation. We’ll chat about your fitness history, any injuries or health conditions, and what you’d like to achieve, and you’ll have the chance to get comfortable with the studio and its equipment. From there, we’ll create a personalised plan that suits your needs and availability.
